League KO's Rapiers-Sixshooters Players with 2-Game Suspensions Saturday, May 27th, 2017 Nobody was hurt in a confrontation yesterday between the Rapiers Pat McJannett and the Sixshooters Ben Fallon as both benches cleared during the fracas at Rapiers Ballpark. It appeared that there were a few punches thrown before the players could be separated. Today the league commissioner took action. The league decided to punish the guilty parties. Pat McJannett and Ben Fallon will each have to sit out 2-game suspensions for their roles in this fight. So far in 2017 McJannett is batting .197 with 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has 12 hits in 61 at-bats and a .395 OBP. Fallon has nailed down no saves for the year. He has also totaled 7 strikeouts and 10 walks in 14.1 innings while registering a 8.79 ERA and a 0-0 won-lost record. |
