Guzmán out of a Job; Marmora Looking for Skipper Sunday, October 8th, 2017 It was supposed to be just another day at the ballpark, but it didn't turn out that way for Ramiro Guzmán. In a meeting with the Marmora owner and general manager Guzmán found out he was being let go. After today's meeting the front office staff announced Guzmán's firing. They declined to comment on who his successor might be, saying only that it would done quickly. "Ramiro Guzmán is a good baseball man and classy individual, but we don't think he's the best person to lead this ballclub at this time," said the Scramblers general manager. "We wish him all the best in the future." Guzmán, whose in-game decisions have drawn a lot of criticism from local media of late, left the ballpark immediately after the meeting and could not be reached for comment. |
