Mermen Chill Morán's Hot Streak Friday, September 1st, 2017 Swallows center fielder Albert Morán was one of the hottest hitters in baseball, coming into today's game against Myrtle Beach with a 29-game hitting streak. However, the Mermen put a chill in his bat, at least for today, and held him hitless in 4 at-bats during the Myrtle Beach 7-4 triumph at Swallows Ballpark. So far this season, Morán has recorded a .378 batting average with 151 hits, 21 home runs, 75 RBIs, 73 runs scored and a .421 OBP. |
