UAA Votes Swallows Brewer Top Player Monday, August 28th, 2017 So far in his young career, John Brewer has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 19-year-old Sun Prairie Swallows first baseman hit at a torrid .393 clip as he collected 11 hits in 28 at-bats, 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Brewer is batting .266 with 68 hits, 9 home runs, 49 RBIs, 22 walks, .341 OBP and has scored 32 runs. He has played in 67 games. |
