MAA Presents Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 21st, 2017 27-year-old Jim Vaughan made a few Glenburn headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 22 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Vaughan collected 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 7 runs. This year Vaughan is batting .288 with 66 hits, 14 home runs, 46 RBIs, 33 walks, .376 OBP and has scored 41 runs. |
