Going Once! Twice! Gone Again! 3 HR for Glenn Friday, July 14th, 2017 Belvedere Park won't soon forget the display of raw power put on today by Jack Glenn of the Seattle Terns. He victimized the Rawhides by pounding three pitches out of Field of the Rawhides. The homers sparked his club to a 11-5 win and got him a spot in the league record book. "I got three pitches down the pipe and popped them," Glenn told reporters. "Today I was in a groove ... tomorrow I could just pop up the same pitches and go oh-for-three." In addition to the homers, he collected 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. Jack Glenn hit a three-run home run off Eric Patnode in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Eric Patnode in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Paul Abbott in the 5th, walked in the 7th and walked in the 9th. Glenn has collected 57 hits for the Terns this year, 10 of them home runs. He has also netted 33 RBIs and scored 27 runs while batting .298. |
