1AAA Names Outstanding Hitter Award Winner Thursday, September 28th, 2017 Jorge Gonzáles of the Bakersfield Nobles had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2017. The 25-year-old left fielder put up a .358 average and a .402 on-base percentage, piling up 172 hits, 32 doubles, 2 triples, 36 home runs, 132 RBIs and 100 runs scored.Fernando González of the Salt Lake City Buzz finished second in voting, while Tim Walker of the Bakersfield Nobles finished third. |
