Port Royal Ace Wins 1AAA Outstanding Pitcher Award Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Richard Allison performed like a veteran on the hill for the Port Royal Disaster and walked away with the League 1 AAA Outstanding Pitcher Award in the process. The 21-year-old Disaster star fashioned a 11-8 won-loss record in 2017 with a 3.63 ERA. In 166 innings of work and 24 starts, Allison struck out 168 while giving up 154 hits and 73 walks. He held opposing batters to a .244 average.Chuck Steele of the Bakersfield Nobles finished second in voting, while Lance Hodges of the Bakersfield Nobles finished third. |
