Gardner on a Tear, Hits for Cycle Friday, September 8th, 2017 ParksNRec center fielder Mike Gardner made big news today in the Pawnee 23-10 victory over Port Royal. He was 4-for-5 at the plate and hit for the cycle. Mike Gardner singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Mac Merritt in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 6th, doubled in the 7th, was hit by a pitch in the 9th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th. For the year Gardner has hit at a .327 clip with 24 RBIs, 4 home runs and 15 runs scored. |
