League KO's ParksNRec-Buzz Players with 9-Game Suspensions
Saturday, July 2nd, 2016
The league commissioner announced that two players had been suspended for inappropriate conduct. He told BNN, "What I'm trying to do with these penalties is say, we can't stop you from doing these things, but if you do them, you have to understand you will pay the consequences."

Baseball can be an intense game and on-field confrontations happen. However, the league disciplinary policy is to punish, sometimes severely, those who decide to settle things with their fists.

When Tim Little of the Pawnee ParksNRec and Joseph Reed of the Salt Lake City Buzz got into a scuffle during a game, both players knew that a suspension would be forthcoming.

Sure enough, today it was announced that both players will each receive a 9-game suspension for their actions in a recent game at Whips Ballpark.

In the current season, Little has put up a .308 batting average with 62 hits, 2 home runs, 23 RBI and scored 29 runs.

This year Reed has a 4-9 mark in 15 starts with a 5.49 ERA. He has given up 104 hits in 95 innings, struck out 70 and issued 27 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .283 batting average against him.
