Dunn Blisters Bakersfield Thursday, June 23rd, 2016 It was a sensational day at the plate for Steve Dunn as he led the charge to a 13-6 win over the Nobles. The Pawnee catcher was pure misery for the Bakersfield pitching staff. He left them shellshocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. The manager for the Nobles told BNN reporters after the game, "Dunn put the ball into play. He really hit it hard. When you do that, you've got a pretty good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some pretty good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Steve Dunn hit a GRAND SLAM off Ron Barry in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. So far this year Dunn has hit .341 with 6 home runs, 20 RBIs and 24 runs scored. |
