Atlanta, California Agree to Deal Wednesday, October 11th, 2017 Trade winds have been blowing through Atlanta. This time, a deal has materialized between the Smoke and Oceanliners. According to sources inside the organization, Atlanta will ship 21-year-old starting pitcher George Frazier, 24-year-old shortstop Dave King, 23-year-old starting pitcher Adrián Fierro, 21-year-old starting pitcher António Rodríguez and 20-year-old minor league center fielder Chi-ju Zhang to California for 22-year-old starting pitcher John Kaufman. In 411 games King has a career .243 batting average and a .303 on-base percentage. He has hit 52 home runs with 202 RBIs and 206 runs scored. Since joining the league, Kaufman has compiled an ERA of 3.88 with a career record of 14-9. He has 128 strikeouts in 181 innings and has held opponents to a .230 batting average. |
