Oceanliners Chill Dyer's Hot Streak Thursday, September 21st, 2017 The California Oceanliners pitching did its job today, holding hot-hitting Tony Dyer hitless in 1 at-bat during a 2-1 victory over the Grafton Middies at Oceanview Park. This disappointing performance ended his 25-game hitting streak. "I'm a little down right now," Dyer said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." Thus far this year Dyer is hitting .397 with 18 home runs, 81 RBIs and 75 runs scored. |
