Dyer Ups Hit Streak to 25 Consecutive Games

"Yeah, I kept my string going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Tony Dyer after the Grafton Middies fell 8-6 to California in Oceanview Park today.
The 30-year-old left fielder upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games with 2 hits in 5 at-bats. Tony Dyer flied out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, singled in the 9th and flied out in the 11th.
This season Dyer has hit at a .398 clip and produced 81 RBI, 18 home runs and 75 runs.
