Eliott Hurt, Listed Day-to-Day Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 The Brooklyn Dodgers said it will be up to starting pitcher Jim Eliott whether he plays or not. He suffered a day-to-day injury in yesterday's game against the Oakland Oaks and could be missing a few games. Eliott was hurt while throwing a pitch and sustained back tightness. Team doctors told him it could up to one week before he heals completely. To date this year, Eliott shows a 11-4 record, 22 starts, 153.1 innings, 185 strikeouts and a 1.76 ERA. |
