Setback For Hotspur and Fernando Gabriel Monday, August 28th, 2017 The Phoenix Hotspur trainer was the bearer of bad news today as it was learned Fernando Gabriel's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Hotspur starting pitcher is being treated for a torn meniscus. During a routine exam, Gabriel's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another 2 weeks. To date this year Gabriel has compiled a 2-1 mark with a 2.60 ERA in 6 starts. |
