Players Suspended in Reapers-Dodgers Donnybrook

Baseball officials have notified the Reapers and Dodgers organizations that one of their players has been suspended for "inappropriate and aggressive behavior" in yesterday's Detroit-Brooklyn contest at Reapers Ballpark. Nick Simmons of the Reapers and Ramón Ortega of the Dodgers will have to sit out 5 games for their roles in the free-for-all brawl.

During the current season Simmons is batting at a .257 clip with 2 home runs and 16 RBIs. He has played in 72 games and scored 11 times.

This season Ortega has 8 wins and 4 losses and a 3.12 ERA.
