Players Suspended in Reapers-Dodgers Donnybrook Wednesday, August 16th, 2017 Baseball officials have notified the Reapers and Dodgers organizations that one of their players has been suspended for "inappropriate and aggressive behavior" in yesterday's Detroit-Brooklyn contest at Reapers Ballpark. Nick Simmons of the Reapers and Ramón Ortega of the Dodgers will have to sit out 5 games for their roles in the free-for-all brawl. During the current season Simmons is batting at a .257 clip with 2 home runs and 16 RBIs. He has played in 72 games and scored 11 times. This season Ortega has 8 wins and 4 losses and a 3.12 ERA. |
