Boston-San Francisco Swap: for Nieto Thursday, September 4th, 2014 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Patriots and Fog have agreed to a swap. San Francisco will get nothing with Boston receiving 29-year-old first baseman Cristo Nieto in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. |
