Update: Cruz Out 6-7 Weeks Tuesday, August 19th, 2014 The medical report is in: the injury that has kept Capitol District third baseman Ricardo Cruz out of action since 08/16/2014 will sideline him for another 6-7 weeks. The 28-year-old Cruz, who has a torn quad, said he heals quickly. "I'll be back soon," he said, "and I'll pick up where I left off. " This season Cruz is batting .315 with 26 home runs. He has scored 63 runs and driven in 79. |
