Phoenix's Francisco González Suffers Setback Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 Phoenix Hotspur second baseman Francisco González is not healing as well as expected as he recovers from a sprained ankle and will miss an additional 4 days as a result. González had been working with the team medical staff, but was taken to a specialist as a precaution. Examination revealed more damage than originally thought. In his career González has played in 199 games with a .225 batting average. Among his 149 hits are 35 doubles, 2 triples and 12 home runs. He also has scored 81 runs and driven in 56 runs. |
