House to Retire, May Get Into Broadcasting
Friday, September 26th, 2014
Detroit first baseman Rob House says he intends to retire from playing baseball and may begin a career in the broadcast booth. "I haven't decided for sure what I'm going to do next, but the idea definitely intrigues me," said Rob. Coaches and teammates have always considered House to be highly intelligent and articulate. "He's a smart guy and he knows a lot about the game," said Reapers bench coach Ezequiel Chosson. "He would do very well as a broadcaster."
