L1's Top Rookie Honored Thursday, September 4th, 2014 The regular season is now history and it's awards time in the League I. This year's winner of the Amateur of the Year is 24-year-old Kenneth Chapman of the Atlanta Smoke. The talented first baseman batted .299, played in 79 games and delivered 59 hits in 197 at-bats. His totals also included 6 home runs, 34 RBIs, 33 runs scored, 13 walks and a .346 OPB. |
