League I Names Rookie of Month Friday, August 1st, 2014 Youngster Kenneth Chapman emerged as the latest League I Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Atlanta deserved the honor, batting .361 with 4 home runs and 18 RBI. Is the month of July a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Chapman enjoy the limelight. In 64 games this season Chapman has batted at a .338 pace with 51 hits and 6 home runs. |
