García Sizzles, Grafton Fizzles Wednesday, July 23rd, 2014 Lexington pitcher Guillermo García blanked the Grafton Middies 7-0, tossing a 1-hitter while issuing no walks and collecting 10 strikeouts. After his sharp shutout performance, he said that he gives a lot of the credit to his batterymate. "Me and him are just locked in out there. He's so great at having a feel for hitters. I couldn't do what I'm doing without him." On his stats sheet this season García shows a 12-2 record, 18 starts, 125 innings, 155 strikeouts and a 1.30 ERA. |
