San Diego Stops Dyer's Hit Streak Saturday, April 26th, 2014 After 27 games, Tony Dyer saw his hitting streak end when he went hitless in 3 at-bats. However, the Middies won, which took some of the sting out of it. Grafton topped the San Diego Sea Turtles 3-1 at Field of the Sultans. "It was a good run," the right fielder said after the game. "It was bound to end at some point. I'm just glad we won the day it ended." So far this year Dyer is batting .413 with 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |
