War Dogs Shut Out Fire Fighters, Griffin Winner Monday, September 16th, 2030 A masterful pitching performance carried the Atlantic City War Dogs to a 1-0 victory over Gilbert. Maurice Griffin held the Fire Fighters scoreless in a complete-game effort. He permitted 4 hits, had 7 strikeouts and allowed no walks. "Griffin was sharp," Fire Fighters manager Ricardo Morán said later. "We never did figure him out."
