Year Over for KO Freitas Thursday, September 6th, 2029 Doctors in Long Beach said Rodrigo Freitas might not play anymore this year. The KO starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow during a game against the Ottawa Fat Cats and will be out for at least 10 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. Thus far this season, Freitas has worked 18 innings with 20 strikeouts en route to a 0-1 record and a 6.00 ERA. |
