Hopps Struts Stuff in Win Over Punta Cana Sunday, August 11th, 2030 Robbie Hopps handcuffed the Punta Cana Hutias at Fire Fighters Stadium today, coming away with a 3-hit, complete game shutout. "I had everything working for me out there," the Gilbert Fire Fighters right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted." With his stuff working, Hopps had little trouble with the Hutias and led the Fire Fighters to victory, 12-0. He recorded 13 strikeouts and 1 walk in an impressive performance.
