Tremblay's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Monday, August 5th, 2030 The number just keeps getting higher. Washington DC third baseman Bill Tremblay has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 4 at-bats as the Washington DC took the 6-4 win over the Plymouth Cocks at Gun Slingers Ballpark. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Plymouth manager Lawrence Lawrence said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Bill Tremblay walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, struck out in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. In 23 games this year Tremblay has posted a .301 average and put up these numbers: no home runs, 4 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |
