No Late-Season Magic Coming: Shelby HS Out of Playoffs Tuesday, May 8th, 2029 It's the better-luck-next-time point of the season for the Shelby HS Rockets. The club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today, and will turn their attention to next year's campaign. "You know, the average player doesn't get that many seasons, so every time you're eliminated, it hurts," said Rockets starting pitcher Kevin Harris. Before this season, the Rockets last missed the playoffs in 2027. In the 16 years they have been a High School Stars League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 12 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
