Chandler Caps Memorable Season with HSNL Outstanding Hitter Award Honor Monday, June 17th, 2030 He's only 16 years old, but Daron Chandler of the Dublin Jerome HS Celtics has clearly established himself as a star of High School Stars League. His status grew today as the ace pitcher was named the winner of the 2030 High School NL Outstanding Hitter Award. "I just want to pitch well and win games," he said. "The awards are nice though." Chandler's award-winning season saw him put up a 5-0 record through 9 starts, throwing 50 innings. He had 64 strikeouts with 7 walks and a 1.62 ERA.
