Pirates Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, May 15th, 2030 The Oceanside HS Pirates may feel they were as good as the playoff teams this year, but the club has ultimately fallen short of qualifying and will watch the postseason from the sidelines. "It's frustrating because we really feel like we could have given any of the teams a run for their money," said reliever Charles Walters. This is the club's 8th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2022. In the last 10 seasons, the Pirates have missed the playoffs 9 times. In total, the Pirates have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 17-year history. |
