Scovell Has 30-Game Hitting Streak Monday, May 13th, 2030 Nobody has been able to shut down Mountain Pointe HS first baseman Vince Scovell in recent days. The Randall HS Raiders fared no better than the rest. Today at Trawlers Ballpark, Scovell picked up 1 hit in 3 at-bats en route to a 7-5 Mountain Pointe HS victory. It stretched his hitting string to 30 consecutive games. Vince Scovell hit an RBI double in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and walked in the 8th. So far this year in 40 games Scovell is hitting .383 with 10 home runs, 47 RBIs and 38 runs scored. |
