Howard Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Monday, May 13th, 2030 Nobody has been able to shut down Fresno HS Red Wings first baseman Bob Howard in recent days. The Rocky Point HS Eagles fared no better than the rest. Today at Roswell HS Grounds, Howard picked up 2 hits in 4 at-bats en route to a 16-4 Red Wings victory. It stretched his hitting string to 20 consecutive games. Bob Howard flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Michael Dunlap in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, walked in a run in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Ron Parker in the 9th. Howard is hitting .397 in 2030 with 68 RBIs and 16 home runs. |
