Hit Streak Now at 20 for Lynch Saturday, May 11th, 2030 Robby Lynch, right fielder for the John Jay HS Patriots, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 5-4 victory today over the Fort Worth HS Turkeys at Ghosts Ballpark today. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Robby Lynch grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 10th. Lynch is hitting .459 in 2030 with 56 RBIs and 18 home runs. |
