Snyder Bashes 5 Base Hits Friday, May 3rd, 2030 Reggie Snyder knows as well as anyone that in baseball, the biggest contracts go to the biggest hitters. At Ballpark of The Hills HS today, he made his case to be considered among that group. The 18-year-old shortstop hammered 5 hits in 5 chances, though the remarkable effort came even as his Mountain Pointe HS fell, 13-10, to the Jeffersonville-Youngsville Central HS Trojans. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," Trojans manager Tom Green told BNN sportswriters after the game. "Thankfully, we were able to do enough elsewhere that Snyder wasn't the difference." Reggie Snyder hit a two-run home run off Tim Beach in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and walked in the 10th.
