Bennett's Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Friday, May 3rd, 2030 Dale Bennett has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 15-year-old Tulsa HS As center fielder extended his streak today to 20 games, going 2-for-5 as Tulsa HS got the best of the Butler HS Golden Tornado at Black Bears Stadium, 5-4. "Dale has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," As manager Sergio Sánchez said. Dale Bennett singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. So far this season Bennett has put up a .362 batting average with 50 hits, 7 home runs and 37 RBIs. |
