Hit Streak Now at 30 for Martínez Friday, May 3rd, 2030 Valentín Martínez of the Bishop Gorman HS Balbasaurs extended his hitting streak to 30 straight games with 2 hits in today's 12-3 triumph over the Evans HS Knights at Engines Ballpark. "Valentín has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Balbasaurs manager Elijah Davidson joked after the game. Valentín Martínez flied out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. So far this season Martínez is batting .409 with 6 home runs. |
