Hit Streak Now at 25 for Webb Wednesday, May 1st, 2030 Daniel Webb of the H.H. Dow HS Chargers extended his hitting streak to 25 straight games with 2 hits in today's 7-5 triumph over the Coweta HS Tigers at Typhoons Ballpark. "Daniel has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Chargers manager Bob Graham joked after the game. Daniel Webb hit a three-run home run off Jeff Bowers in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. A look at his current stats shows Webb with a .326 average, 10 home runs, 27 RBIs and 31 runs scored. He has played in 29 games. |
