Ledoux Keeps Hit Streak Alive
Wednesday, May 1st, 2030
The Santa Fe HS Chiefs may have proven to be mere mortals today as they lost 7-6 to the Butler HS Golden Tornado, but Chris Ledoux continued to hit like a god.

The shortstop collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 36 games.

"Ledoux is playing great and is on fire right now," Chiefs manager José Nieto said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins."

Ledoux was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss."
Chris Ledoux was hit by a pitch in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th.

So far this season Ledoux is batting .484 with no home runs.
