Balbasaurs End Mills's Streak Tuesday, April 30th, 2030 It was a doubly miserable day today for Pat Mills of the Rocky Point HS Eagles, as he saw his 21-game hitting streak end and his team lose 11-5 to the Bishop Gorman HS Balbasaurs at Classics Ballpark. The 16-year-old second baseman was held hitless in 3 at-bats by the Balbasaurs. "Anyone on a 21-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," Bishop Gorman HS manager Elijah Davidson said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done." Mills on the season is batting .420 with 3 home runs. His totals include 21 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has played in 27 games. |
