Peterson Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Tuesday, April 30th, 2030 The Fresno HS Red Wings stopped the Masconomet HS Chieftans today 11-0 and Mike Peterson collected a base hit yet again. The Fresno HS second baseman finished with 3 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Peterson told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Mike Peterson hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, walked in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. This year Peterson is batting .492 with 7 home runs and 33 RBIs. |
