5-Hit Game for Peterson Monday, April 29th, 2030 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Mike Peterson is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the H.H. Dow HS Chargers at Red Wings Ballpark today. The monster effort from the 18-year-old second baseman helped the Fresno HS Red Wings take the win, 25-5. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Chargers manager Bob Graham. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Mike Peterson singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit a three-run triple in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
