Ledoux Has 34-Game Hitting Streak Monday, April 29th, 2030 The Santa Fe HS Chiefs may have proven to be mere mortals today as they lost 13-2 to the Buchanan HS, but Chris Ledoux continued to hit like a god. The shortstop collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 34 games. "Ledoux is playing great and is on fire right now," Chiefs manager José Nieto said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." Ledoux was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Chris Ledoux singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and singled in the 7th. Batting .466 to date, Ledoux has no home runs and 12 RBIs. |
