Hit Streak Now at 20 for Rodríguez Monday, April 22nd, 2030 Mario Rodríguez, first baseman for the Bishop Verot HS, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 13-12 victory today over the Coweta HS Tigers at Mudcats Ballpark today. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Mario Rodríguez grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and grounded out in the 7th.
