St. John Rips Masconomet HS for 5 Hits Thursday, April 18th, 2030 Edward St. John put on a hitting clinic today as the Maize HS dumped the Masconomet HS Chieftans 18-10 at Ballpark of Ottumwa HS. The Maize HS shortstop made Masconomet HS defenders earn their pay, lashing Masconomet HS pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it." "Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," St. John said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."
