Ledoux Hits in 25 Straight Games
Thursday, April 18th, 2030
The Santa Fe HS Chiefs may have proven to be mere mortals today as they lost 23-8 to the Bishop Amat HS, but Chris Ledoux continued to hit like a god.
The shortstop collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 25 games.
"Ledoux is playing great and is on fire right now," Chiefs manager José Nieto said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins."
Ledoux was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Chris Ledoux singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
Ledoux is hitting .418 this year with no home runs and 7 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .471, 7 walks and scored 17 times.
