Top Pitcher Trophy Won by Cyclones Reyes
Wednesday, June 26th, 2030
It was a glorious year for Ray Reyes of the Iowa State Cyclones.

He finished the season with 8 victories and only no losses, with an impressive 1.90 ERA. The talented Cyclones pitcher started 12 games and struck out 103 batters in 66.1 innings and won the College Baseball Roger Clemens Award.

"It means a lot," Reyes said. "I hadn't really had a chance to sit down and think about it yet. It feels good right now. I can't really put it into words, but I'm sure later on tonight when I have a chance to sit down with my family and think about it, I'll have some words for it. But right now, I'm just happy that it happened this year."

Christopher McDonald of the Texas A&M Aggies finished second in voting, while Ramón Collazo of the Creighton Blue Jays finished third.
