No Late-Season Magic Coming: Washington State Out of Playoffs Wednesday, May 29th, 2030 Coming close doesn't make missing the playoffs easier for the Washington State Cougars. Club manager Francisco Mata said it's a "tough pill to swallow" as the club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2028. In the last 10 seasons, the Cougars have missed the playoffs 6 times. In total, the Cougars have missed the playoffs 19 times in their 23-year history. |
