Texas Devastated by Playoff Elimination Wednesday, May 29th, 2030 The Texas Longhorns players and coaches held a closed-door meeting today after the club was eliminated from postseason contention. "We just wanted to talk about the season and where we are right now and how we get to our ultimate goal," said a dejected Bill Turner. "We don't want to have this feeling next season." Texas last appeared in the postseason in 2027. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 16 times in their 23-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Longhorns have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
